Dr. Jon McNeff is pastor emeritus of NorthCreek Church in Walnut Creek, California where he also serves as associate dean of the distance location site for Master’s Seminary. Before this Jon served NorthCreek Church as senior pastor for twenty-four years. He also served churches in Cypress and Rolling Hills Estates, California, totaling forty-three years in ministry.

Jon has a Bachelor of Arts in music from Long Beach State University. He also has a Master of Divinity in systematic theology and a Doctor of Ministry in pastoral counseling, both from Talbot School of Theology. He has been married to his wife Anne since 1972. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren.

Jon’s belief in the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture has fueled his commitment to build the church through consistent expository preaching, Christ centered worship, small group discipleship, biblical counseling, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and globally.

Jim McNeff is the managing editor of Law Officer. Previous to this he served in law enforcement for thirty-one years. He retired as a police lieutenant after twenty-eight years with the Fountain Valley Police Department in Orange County, California. Prior to that he served the 3902 Security Police Squadron in the United States Air Force, assigned to the 1st Air Command and Control Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Southwest University and graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute as well as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) course, Leadership in Police Organizations. He authored The Spirit behind Badge 145, Justice Revealed and Jurisdiction. He has been married to his wife Jamie since 1983. They have three adult children and three grandchildren.
